The PBKS vs GT, match 4 of IPL 2026, took place in New Chandigarh.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Gujarat Titans (GT) clashed in the 4th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 on Tuesday, March 31. PBKS defeated GT by three wickets in the low-scoring thriller.

PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to field first in the match. None of the GT batters could score a half-century. Shubman Gill (39) and Jos Buttler (38) were the highest run-scorers as GT ended with 162/6 in the first innings.

Punjab Kings dominated the chase at the start, reaching 110/3 till the 12th over. However, they lost a few quick wickets later as GT made a good comeback in bowling. However, debutant Cooper Connolly batted with patience on one end. He scored an unbeaten half-century to guide PBKS to a three-wicket win.

Rajasthan Royals and RCB take the top two spots in the IPL 2026 points table, followed by Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings in the next two spots.

All of them won their opening games and have two points each. GT and KKR take the seventh and eighth spots, respectively, while SRH and CSK languish in the last two positions.
