The Salman Agha-led side won the toss and opted to bat first, but failed to post a respectable total. With a half-century by Sahibzada Farhan, they ended with 164/9 as other batters failed to go big.
Pakistan made a wonderful start while defending their total, restricting England to 58/4 in the eighth over. Shaheen Afridi rocked the field in the powerplay and dismissed the first three wickets within five overs to send England on the back foot and dismantle their top-order.

However, Harry Brook played an anchor role in the chase by smacking a wonderful century. With 10 boundaries and 4 sixes, the right-handed batsman scored 100 runs off 51 deliveries. With this spectacular ton, he single-handedly turned the game in England’s favour.

Although England faced a mini-batting collapse towards the end, they reached the target in the 20th over with five balls to spare.
