The Aiden Markram & Co. chased down a 154-run target inside 18 overs to extend their winning streak in the campaign. With this win, they topped the Group 1 points table with six points.

In the do-or-die game played in the evening, India crushed West Indies by five wickets to secure their place in the semi-final. The Shai Hope & Co. piled up a gigantic total of 195/4 in the first innings with brilliant teamwork by their batters.
Later, Sanju Samson hammered a marvellous unbeaten 97 runs to drive India to victory in the last over. After the victory, India joined South Africa to seal a spot in the semi-finals from Group 1.
