The KKR vs PBKS clash of IPL 2026 was washed out due to rain.

Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) could not witness any action on Monday, April 6, as the clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) was washed out due to rain.

KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat first. While PBKS did not make any changes to their playing XI, KKR made two changes. Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine were not part of the clash. Rovman Powell and Navdeep Saini were picked as replacements.

KKR suffered two blows at the start, losing Finn Allen and Cameron Green in the second over itself. Pacer Xavier Bartlett dismissed both of them to provide a dominant start to Punjab. However, the match was halted by rain in the fourth over, with the scoreboard reaching 25/2 in 3.4 overs.

The match could not be restarted due to persistent rain and was eventually abandoned, leaving no result. PBKS and KKR were allotted 1-1 points.
