Another exciting day of cricket ends in the Lanka Premier League 2026, where two games took place on Saturday. Match 11 saw a face-off between Kandy Royals and Galle Gallants. The Royals recorded a 11-run win.
This was their only second win of the season. Moeen Ali produced an all-round display to lead his team to a win. He scored 41 off 29 balls under pressure and took the Royals to a competitive total of 165/6.
He also took 1/11 in three overs. Nuwan Thushara (3/33) and Asitha Fernando (2/33) also played crucial roles in the win. In the second game, Colombo Kaps beat Dambulla Sixers by 21 runs.
Batting first, the Kaps scored 197/5 in the first innings. Captain Kamindu Mendis played a superb knock and scored an unbeaten 88 off just 39 balls. The Sixers only managed 176/8 and lost the game.

Galle Gallants are still at the top of the table with six points and an NRR of +0.576. Colombo Kaps recorded their third win and moved to the second spot with six points.
