Two high-scoring and thrilling games took place in the Indian Premier League 2026 on Saturday, April 11. In the afternoon clash, Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by six wickets. With a half-century by Abhishek Sharma (74), SRH piled up 219/6 in the first innings.
However, it was not enough for victory as PBKS chased it down within 19 overs. Openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh slammed half-centuries to provide an impeccable start to batting. Later, Shreyas Iyer also hammered an unbeaten fifty to drive Punjab to an easy victory.
In the evening clash, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) posted 212/2 against Delhi Capitals (DC) after being asked to bat first. Sanju Samson (115*) rocked the field with his century. In the chase, Pathum Nissanka scored a decent knock, but the middle-order batters failed to go big.
Tristan Stubbs slammed a half-century; however, DC were bowled out for 189 runs and lost by 23 runs. CSK bagged their first victory of the tournament.
