MI failed to deliver a brilliant batting show at Wankhede Stadium. They lost Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav cheaply at the start. Quinton de Kock (112*) slammed an unbeaten century, while Naman Dhir scored a fifty. However, other batters failed to support well, and MI were restricted to 195/6.

In the chase, Prabhsimran Singh (80*) and Shreyas Iyer (66) scored half-centuries for PBKS. They batted at a high run rate from the start and dominated the MI bowlers.

They reached the target within 17 overs with seven wickets to spare, bagging a huge victory. While Punjab have continued their unbeaten run in IPL 2026, the Mumbai Indians have lost four games in a row.
