IPL 2026 Points Table, Orange Cap & Purple Cap after match 41, MI vs SRH

Punjab Kings take the top spot in the points table after the 41st match of IPL 2026.

In yet another high-scoring thriller in the Indian Premier League 2026 on Wednesday (April 29), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) outplayed Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede Stadium.

After opting to bat first, Hardik Pandya & Co. posted a gigantic total of 243/5. Openers Ryan Rickelton (123*) slammed a sensational century and made an opening stand of 93 runs with Will Jacks (46).

The hosts did an excellent job with the bat but made a big goof-up while bowling, completely failing against the SRH batsmen. Openers Abhishek Sharma (45) and Travis Head (76) added 129 runs in nine overs to give the team a solid start.

Later, Heinrich Klaasen scored an unbeaten fifty, while Salil Arora added a quickfire 30 to propel SRH to a six-wicket victory in the record chase. Mumbai Indians‘ bowlers were helpless against them, with even star pacer Jasprit Bumrah leaking runs at an economy rate of 13.50.
