Prithvi Shaw’s team failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.

Prithvi Shaw, who was unsold at the IPL 2025 mega-auction, is currently playing in the T20 Mumbai league. He captained the North Mumbai Panthers in the Mumbai T20 League.

Against Suryakumar Yadav’s Triumphs Knights, Prithvi Shaw was outstanding at bat, smashing 75 off just 34 balls. Prithvi hit three sixes and 12 boundaries while batting at a strike rate of 220.59.

On the twenty-third ball he faced, Prithvi reached his half-century. Thanks to Prithvi’s rapid half-century, the Panthers scored a respectable 207 runs. Rahul Sawant was undefeated at 26 off just 9 balls, while Harshal Jadhav hammered 46 off 30 balls.

The Panthers won the match by 38 runs after bowling out their opponents for 169, thanks to a four-wicket haul from Pratik Mishra. Suryakumar Yadav, who struck 29 off 16 balls, was removed by his four-fer.

The Panthers are in fifth place in the standings and have already eliminated themselves from the competition after only two victories in five games. The squad led by Suryakumar has also been eliminated. On June 12, the tournament’s final is set to take place.

Here is the video:

The goal of Prithvi Shaw is to rejoin the Mumbai cricket team. Two times in the 2024–2025 season, he was benched. He was first passed over by the selectors during the Ranji Trophy. Shaw was a member of the side that won the T20 league as he returned for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

For the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Prithvi was once more dropped. His season ended early since he failed to receive a bid in the IPL 2025 mega-auction.
