India Women are yet to receive the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 trophy.
India Women were crowned champions of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, defeating defending champions Sri Lanka by 72 runs in the summit clash held in Dubai. With this win, India have won their eighth Asia Cup title.
Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. delivered an excellent on-field performance as they beat Sri Lanka comfortably in the final. Getting off to a magnificent start, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma stitched together an excellent opening partnership of 129 runs, helping India post 183/5.
Shafali notched up 68 runs while Smriti Mandhana added 59. Sri Lanka struggled in the chase and were bowled out for 111 runs, with Shree Charani picking up four wickets and Deepti Sharma bagging three.
Now that India won the tournament, all attention is focused on the prize money the winners will receive. But there is a key difference between the official and unofficial amounts announced.

According to several reports, the official prize money for the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 has not been announced. However, if the tournament continues with the previous prize money structure, India stand to gain US$25,000, equivalent to ₹21 lakh.
According to the same report, the Sri Lankan team, which came second in the tournament, would receive about US$15,000 (approximately ₹12.5 lakh). The Sri Lankan captain took the podium and was seen taking the prize money from Mohsin Naqvi.
Therefore, one cannot say ₹21 lakh is India’s officially determined prize money; however, it can be considered an expected figure based on the previous year’s prize money structure.
Nevertheless, this financial incentive comes after a magnificent and unbeaten campaign in which India performed well and won their matches in commanding fashion.
Harmanpreet’s victory as captain was another significant achievement, while other key members of the team—such as Mandhana, Shafali, Charani, and Deepti—also played pivotal roles in this campaign.
