"We’ll find our strength again"- Rajat Patidar finally speaks on Bengaluru stampede incident after RCB's win in IPL 2025

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) skipper Rajat Patidar has paid condolences to the victims of the Bengaluru stampede. RCB won the trophy in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 by defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final on June 3.
On June 4, RCB organised a victory celebration for the team at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, due to overcrowding and mismanagement, a stampede occurred near a gate of the stadium. where 11 people lost their lives and 50 others were injured.
Notably, RCB announced compensation to victims of the Bengaluru stampede and financial assistance for the medical expenses of the injured fans. Recently, the franchise announced Rs. 25 lakh compensation to the families of fans who lost their lives in the stampede.
Rajat Patidar pays condolences to victims of Bengaluru stampede

RCB shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (September 3), where Patidar paid condolences to the victims of the Bengaluru stampede.
“Every time I walk out for RCB, it’s with passion, and that passion comes from you. From your love, your belief, and your unwavering support. You’ve always stood by us,” he said.
“And from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that we stand with you too. You’ve all been in my thoughts and prayers. With all of us holding on to each other, we’ll find our strength again,” he added.
Notably, Patidar became the skipper of RCB ahead of IPL 2025. The right-handed batsman scored 312 runs in 15 games at a strike rate of 143.77, including two fifties. He is currently part of Duleep Trophy 2025-26, where he represents Central Zone.
