Ranji Trophy 2023-24 Semi-finals: Teams, schedule, squads, dates, timings and all you need to know

Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha have qualified for Ranji Trophy 2023-24 semi-finals.
The Ranji Trophy, India’s premier domestic First-Class (FC) cricket tournament, boasts a rich history dating back to 1934. The prestigious tournament played annually across various venues in India, it features regional and state cricket associations competing for the coveted trophy.
The tournament typically begins in November and concludes in March. However, the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season started from January 05 and will end at March 14. A total of 38 teams participated in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season where they are divided into Elite and Plate groups based on performance.
All the 38 teams played in round-robin format within their respective groups, with the top teams from each group progressing to the knockouts. The knockout stage features high-octane quarter-finals, followed by semi-finals, and ultimately, the grand finale.
Eight teams from the four Elite groups – the top two teams from their respective groups progressed to the quarter-finals after the conclusion of the group phase, which was held from January 5 to February 19. Now four teams – Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha have made it to the semi-finals of the tournament after winning their respective quarter-final matches except Mumbai.
Mumbai played out a draw against Baroda in the quarter-finals, but qualified for the semis with a better first innings lead in the quarter-final clash against Baroda.

Both the semi-final matches i.e. Vidarbha vs. Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai vs. Tamil Nadu will be played from March 02 to March 06.
