Ravi Ashwin has already picked up 4 wickets in the ongoing test at the Windsor Park, Roseau in Dominica.

Off-spinner Ravi Ashwin has made it a habit to touch a milestone in every test he plays for India. Ashwin is running high on confidence against West Indies in the first test at Windsor Park in Dominica. Ashwin's numbers in test cricket make him stand above the rest and put his name among the top along with greats of the game like Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh.

With his 3rd wicket in the first innings of the first test against West Indies, Ashwin has completed 700 international wickets for team India and became only the third bowler to touch the milestone after Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh.

In his 13 years long career for Team India, Ravi Ashwin has established himself as one of the greats in the red-ball format. In 93 Test matches, he has picked up 478 wickets in test, in 113 ODIs, he has picked up 151 and in 65 T20Is he picked up 72 wickets. Former Indian test captain Anil Kumble is the leading wicket-taker for Team India in International cricket. Kumble has picked up 953 wickets. Kumble is India's leading wicket-taker in Test and ODI formats. Kumble has 619 Test wickets and 337 in ODIs. Kumble has never played in T20Is for Team India.

Ravi Ashwin is just 7 wickets away from overtaking Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan Singh has picked up 707 international wickets for India in his 20 years of playing career. Harbhajan got 414 Test wickets, 269 ODI wickets, and 25 T20I wickets under his name. Ashwin replaced Harbhajan as a prime off-spin bowler in the Indian test team under MS Dhoni's captaincy. At the tea break, Ashwin got 4 wickets and rattled the Windies batting order. West Indies are 8 down with just 137 runs on the board. Debutant Alick Athanaze showed some resistance against Indian bowlers and scored 47 runs.
