Indian off-spinner Ravi Ashwin has been mocked by Australian players in their dressing room.

Indian off-spinner Ravi Ashwin is just 11 wickets away from completing historical 500 test wickets milestone. Ashwin has been a match-winner for India in the red-ball format. Ashwin’s record against Australians is also magnificent. He has taken 114 wickets against Australia in just 22 matches. A picture from Australia’s dressing room has gone viral and created major uproar in social media during the Boxing Day test.

A picture from Australian dressing room has divided the internet with multiple opinions. A few of the fans have considered this as a dig at Ashwin while the others have taken it as an appreciation for off-spinner with a few caution. Ravi Ashwin has been the biggest roadblock in Australian batters mindset during their tours to India for Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Ravi Ashwin mocked by Aussies?

Social media users noticed a white-board placed inside Australian dressing room during their Boxing Day test against Pakistan at MCG in Melbourne and they have created a list of ‘Best Spinning All-rounders’. They put several names in the list including three Indians, which included Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin. This list also includes a few other great names like Daniel Vettori, Sir Garry Sobers as well.

Fans had a big doubt as the list also included the likes of Travis Head and Samit Patel as well who have below-par performances in the red-ball game. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja together have teared apart Australian batting-order on several occasions while playing in India. Australia have failed to regain Border-Gavaskar Trophy in last 10 years.

The first day of the Boxing Day test was hit by intense rain as only 66 overs of the game was possible. Australia scored 187 runs as the day concluded at the MCG. Pakistan picked up three Australian wickets as David Warner (38), Usman Khawaja (42) and Steve Smith (26) were dismissed on day one. Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal picked up one wicket each.
