CSK vs MI: Watch - Ravindra Jadeja cleans up in-form Suryakumar Yadav
Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Mumbai Indians' in-form batsman, Suryakumar Yadav for 26 runs.
Mumbai Indians had a poor start of the innings against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk stadium in Chennai. They lost their first three wickets inside three overs to give CSK camp some time to relax in the game. Mumbai tried a new opening combination, In-form Cameron Green came in along with Ishan Kishan. Mumbai had a poor start as Green was castled by Tushar Deshpande in the second over. After losing three early wickets, Mumbai Indians innings got some breather when Suryakumar Yadav (26) and young Nehal Wadhera added 55 runs for the 4th wicket. Ravindra Jadeja broke the partnership in his usual style of bowling.
Jadeja gets Suryakumar Yadav
When Suryakumar and Nehal Wadhera were cruising nicely in the partnership, Ravindra Jadeja had a different plan. In the 11th over, Jadeja bowled a straighter one with a 102.0 KMPH pace. Suryakumar, already going with the flow, tried to make room and slice the ball toward the third man. He missed it completely due to the pace of the ball and lost his furniture off the ground. Jadeja’s arm ball went hitting straight to Surya’s middle and off stump. Jadeja broke the partnership and once again put Chennai ahead of Mumbai in the game. Suryakumar scored 26 runs in 22 balls scoring only 3 fours to give MI a short relief.

Chennai’s pace bowlers had a brilliant start after MS Dhoni invited MI to bat first. Mumbai chased down two 200-plus run scores in their previous games. Going in nicely, they had a reality check once again with their batting line-up. Tilak Verma is also ruled out of the action due to a niggle. Captain Rohit Sharma came in to bat number three, and he went back without scoring. Young Nehal Wadhera is going in nicely against Chennai’s spinners, if he gets support from the lower order, MI will have an opportunity to post a decent total in the game.
