Ravindra Jadeja takes a dig at MS Dhoni fans after he wins 'Most Valuable Player' award in Qualifier 1
Ravindra Jadeja scored 22 runs and picked 2 wickets conceding 18 runs in CSK's win over GT in Qualifier 1.
With his social media activities, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has kept fans wondering. Jadeja delivered a new jab on Twitter after being named the 'Most Valuable Asset of the Match' following CSK's victory over Gujarat Titans in the India Premier League (IPL 2023) Qualifier 1.
The seasoned all-rounder contributed significantly to the contest, both with the bat and with the ball. After GT captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bowl first, Jadeja contributed 22 runs to the CSK total of 172/7, which was made possible mostly by Ruturaj Gaikwad's 60 and Devon Conway's 40 and their 87-run opening combination.
Then, with the ball, Jadeja weaved a web of mystery around GT hitters, picking 2/18 in 4 overs, including the wickets of Dasun Shanaka and the dangerous David Miller, as CSK triumphed by 15 runs by limiting GT to 157.
After the match, Jadeja was named the most valuable asset of the match for his all-round performance. He shared the photo of him receiving the award and posted a message which ruffled some feathers in the CSK fandom.
Sharing a picture of him receiving the 'Upstox Most Valuable Asset Of the Match', Jadeja took a dig at fans, saying they don't know something that Upstox does.
Not the first time Ravindra Jadeja has taken a dig at MSD fans
Jadeja has been posting mysterious messages on social media, leading fans to question if all is well between him and the franchise. His new jab has added another piece to the puzzle. Not too long ago, Jadeja's 'Karma' tweet had triggered wayward speculations on social media.
"Karma will get back at you, sooner or later it surely will," Jadeja posted an image, captioning it "Definitely" with a thumbs up emoji.
Even his wife had reacted to the post.
