Ravindra Jadeja and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will play for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to witness a fresh journey in the Indian Premier League 2026 under newly appointed captain Riyan Parag. After Sanju Samson parted ways with the team and joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of IPL 2026, RR have appointed youngster Parag as their skipper.
Along with Parag, two more RR players will be in the limelight in IPL 2026. Ravindra Jadeja has returned to the side after 16 years, having last represented the team in the 2009 edition.
The Royals have exchanged Sanju Samson with Jadeja and Sam Curran through a trade deal with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). With his extensive IPL experience and excellence with both bat and ball, Jadeja will be a crucial senior member for the side.
Apart from Jadeja, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is another player from the team who will be in focus in the upcoming season. He scripted history by becoming the youngest batter to score an IPL century last season.
Earlier this year, he became a talk of the town for his match-winning century for India U-19 against England in the final of the Under-19 ICC ODI World Cup 2026.

Like all the teams, the Rajasthan Royals players are pulling their socks for IPL 2026 in the pre-tournament camp. During net sessions in the RR camp, Vaibhav and Jadeja played against each other.
Jadeja bowled a few deliveries to Sooryavanshi but struggled to overpower him. The latter played his deliveries with ease and dominated him.
The video of the moment was shared by the IPL 2008 champions on their official X account (formerly Twitter). In the video, Jadeja appeared helpless with his strategy against Vaibhav.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will commence their IPL 2026 campaign against CSK at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on March 30. Of their 7 home games, RR will play their first 3 in Guwahati and the remaining 4 in Jaipur.
