25. Rajat Patidar – ₹20 lakhs:

In the IPL 2021 auction, Rajat Patidar was acquired by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for 20 lakhs and then he was released before the IPL 2022 mega auction. He attracted no bidders in the mega auction, but RCB acquired the middle-order batter as an injury replacement during the IPL 2022.

Patidar replaced Luvnith Sisodia in the RCB camp at his base price of INR 20 lakhs. Since then, the team has been retaining him for the same price, even though he was injured and ruled out of the entire 2023 season. Since 2022, he has been an integral part of RCB batting order, featuring in 12 matches and scoring 404 runs.

24. Akash Deep – ₹20 lakhs:

In August 2021, Akash Deep joined the Royal Challengers Bengaluru squad for the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 held in the UAE. Following this, in February 2022, he was acquired by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2022 mega auction for 20 lakhs. With 7 matches under his belt, he has already claimed 6 wickets. Furthermore, he got retained for the IPL 2024 for 20 lakhs.

23. Manoj Bhandage – ₹20 lakhs:

In the IPL 2023 auction, Manoj Bhandage was acquired by RCB for 20 lakhs. Despite not making any appearances in the IPL 2023, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 for 20 lakhs.

22. Vyshak Vijaykumar – ₹20 lakhs:

Vijaykumar Vyshak was initially unsold in the IPL 2023 auction but was later drafted in as a replacement for injured batter Rajat Patidar for the remainder of the IPL 2023. He made an impact by playing 7 matches and taking 9 wickets. As a result, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 for 20 lakhs.

21. Himanshu Sharma – ₹20 lakhs:

Himanshu Sharma was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the IPL 2023 auction for 20 lakhs. Although he featured in only one match in the 2023 season, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 for 20 lakhs.

20. Saurav Chuahan – ₹20 lakhs:

Saurav Chauhan, a young cricketer from Gujarat, was bought by RCB in IPL 2024 auction for 20 lakhs. He will be eager to make his debut in the IPL 2024 and showcase his talent on the big stage.

19. Swapnil Singh – ₹20 lakhs:

Swapnil Singh was acquired by RCB for 20 lakhs in the IPL 2024 auction. Previously, he has been part of the Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings squads in the IPL. He was later picked by Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2023. Despite his IPL journey, he has only played 7 matches so far, and he will be eager to make a greater impact with RCB in the IPL 2024.

18. Suyash Prabhudessai – ₹30 lakhs:

Suyash Prabhudessai was acquired by RCB for 30 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Despite having played only 10 matches and scoring 102 runs so far, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 for 30 lakhs.

17. Karn Sharma – ₹50 lakhs:

Karn Sharma, an IPL veteran since 2013, was acquired by RCB in the IPL 2022 mega auction for 50 lakhs. Prior to joining RCB, he has showcased his skills for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings. With 74 matches under his belt, Sharma has scalped 69 wickets in the IPL. His consistent performances got him a retention by RCB for 50 lakhs for the IPL 2024.

16. Rajan Kumar – ₹70 lakhs:

Rajan Kumar was acquired by RCB in the IPL 2023 auction for 70 lakhs, but he did not feature in that season. Despite this, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 for 70 lakhs.

15. Mahipal Lomror – ₹95 lakhs:

Mahipal Lomror, who has been part of the IPL since 2018, was acquired by RCB in the IPL 2022 mega auction for 95 lakhs. Prior to joining RCB, he played for Rajasthan Royals. With 30 matches under his belt, Lomror has scored 402 runs in the IPL. RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 for 95 lakhs .

14. Tom Curran – ₹1.50 crores:

Tom Curran was acquired by RCB for 1.5 crores in the IPL auction 2024. Before joining RCB, he has played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. With 13 matches played, Curran has taken 13 wickets in the tournament thus far.

13. Mayank Dagar – ₹1.80 crores:

RCB acquired Mayank Dagar from Sunrisers Hyderabad via a trade deal before the IPL 2024 auction, with Shahbaz Ahmed being traded to SRH in return. Dagar’s price tag stands at 1.8 crores for the IPL 2024. Despite limited IPL appearances, having played only 3 matches, Dagar will look to make an impact with his batting skills.

12. Reece Topley – ₹1.90 crores:

In the IPL 2023 auction, RCB secured Reece Topley for 1.9 crores. Despite his limited appearances last season due to injury, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price, highlighting their belief in his capabilities.

11. Lockie Ferguson – ₹2 crores:

RCB secured Lockie Ferguson for 2 crores in the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining RCB, Ferguson has represented Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, and Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL. With 38 matches under his belt, he has taken 37 wickets in the IPL, showcasing his bowling prowess and experience.

10. Will Jacks – ₹3.20 crores:

RCB secured Will Jacks for INR 3.2 crores in the IPL 2023 auction. Despite missing out on playing last season due to injury, RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price, indicating their confidence in his abilities and potential.

9. Anuj Rawat – ₹3.40 crores:

In the IPL 2022 mega auction, Anuj Rawat was acquired by RCB for 3.4 crores. Prior to joining RCB, he was associated with Rajasthan Royals. With 19 matches under his belt, Rawat has scored 220 runs. RCB retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price, showcasing their confidence in his potential.

8. Yash Dayal – ₹5 crores:

Yash Dayal was been acquired by RCB for 5 crores in the IPL 2024 auction, having previously been associated with Gujarat Titans for two seasons. With 14 matches played, Dayal has already taken 13 wickets in the IPL, demonstrating his potential to make an instant impact in the IPL 2024. Dayal is more often known for conceding five sixes in a row to Rinku Singh in a clash between GT and KKR in the IPL 2023. Dayal would like to change how people remember him.

7. Dinesh Karthik – ₹5.50 crores:

Dinesh Karthik was acquired by RCB for 5.5 crores in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Before joining RCB, he had stints with various teams including Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings), Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, and Kolkata Knight Riders, before returning to RCB. With 242 matches played, Karthik has scored 4516 runs so far. He got retained by RCB for 5.5 crores for the IPL 2024.

6. Mohammed Siraj – ₹7 crores:

Siraj was initially secured by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for 2.20 crores in the IPL 2018 auction, transitioning from his previous stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad. With 79 matches to his credit, Siraj has already claimed 78 wickets. RCB elevated his retention price to 7 crores while retaining him before the IPL 2022 mega auction, and since then, the franchise has been retaining him at the same price for the IPL 2024.

5. Faf Du Plessis – ₹7 crores:

Faf du Plessis was acquired by RCB for 7 crores in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining RCB, he played with Chennai Super Kings, Rising Pune Supergiants, and later returned to Chennai Super Kings. With 130 matches under his belt, du Plessis has scored 4133 runs. He got retained by RCB for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 7 crores.

4. Glenn Maxwell – ₹11 crores:

Glenn Maxwell was acquired by RCB for 14.25 crores in the IPL 2021 auction. Prior to joining RCB, he had stints with Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, and Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings). With 124 matches played, Maxwell has scored 2719 runs. He was retained for 11 crores by RCB ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction, and got retained for the same amount for the IPL 2024.

3. Alzarri Joseph – ₹11.50 crores:

Alzarri Joseph was acquired by RCB for 11.5 crores in the IPL 2024 auction. Before joining RCB, he played for Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans. With 19 matches under his belt, Joseph has taken 20 wickets so far and aims to make an instant impact in the IPL 2024. Joseph also holds the record for best bowling figures ever in an IPL match – 6/12, which he took for MI against SRH in 2019.

2. Virat Kohli – ₹15 crores:

Virat Kohli, a cornerstone of RCB, has been an integral part of the IPL since its inception. Remarkably, he is the only player in the league’s history to have represented just one franchise throughout his IPL career. With an impressive tally of 237 matches, Kohli has amassed 7263 runs, including 50 half-centuries and 7 centuries.

Before the IPL 2018 mega auction, RCB retained Virat Kohli for a whopping 17 crores, but before the mega auction in 2022, RCB lowered his price and retained him for 15 crores. Kohli has been part of the franchise since its inception and will earn 15 crores during IPL 2024 as well.

1. Cameron Green – ₹17.5 crores:

RCB made a significant move by acquiring Cameron Green from MI in an all-cash deal worth 17.5 crores before the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining RCB, Green was associated with Mumbai Indians. Despite playing only one season, Green has already made a mark, featuring in 16 matches and scoring 452 runs. With his impressive debut season in IPL 2023, RCB will hope for him to continue where he left off with MI last season.
