The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the first phase of IPL 2026, which will be played from March 28 to April 12, with every team playing four matches. Speaking about RCB, they play two matches at home and two away in the first phase, with their final game of the first phase against the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 12.
RCB will be led by Rajat Patidar, who became the first captain to win a IPL trophy for the franchise. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be playing his 19th season with the franchise. He remains the only player in the IPL to have played for one single franchise since the start of the tournament in 2008.
