In a massive blow to Royal Challengers Bangalore, batsman Rajat Patidar has been ruled out of the ongoing IPL 2023.

Now In a new update, RCB’s find of the IPL 2022, Patidar has been ruled out of the entire Indian Premier League season. Rajat had a wonderful season with RCB last year as well as in Indian Domestic Cricket. RCB were hopeful of Patidar’s participation in the league after a few initial games. RCB suffered multiple injuries before the start of this season. Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood and Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga are out of the action due to injury as well.
RCB to look out for Rajat Patidar's replacement
In IPL 2022, Rajat had a wonderful run with the bat for RCB. He played 12 games and scored 404 runs for the team with a century against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator clash. Patidar’s century was enough to tell that he is a big match player.

In their opening game of IPL 2023, RCB registered a big win against Mumbai Indians at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Both Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli added 148 runs for the opening wicket stand. In the absence of Patidar, wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik came in at number 3 but he was back in the dugout early without scoring any run. RCB will look for a formidable name to replace Patidar for an entire season. Patidar had a wonderful run of form in the Ranji Trophy as well.
In the next encounter, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be touring Kolkata. On 6th April RCB will play against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. After a huge win against MI, RCB have got the momentum to carry on positively in IPL 2023. KKR is looking into enormous trouble under a new captain Nitish Rana. RCB will look to take that as an advantage.
