Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be crossing swords with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The game between the two teams is all set to take place at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (3rd June). 

RCB were one of the standout teams in the league stage of the IPL 2025. They finished in the second spot on the points table with nine wins and four losses in the 14 games. While one of their games was washed out due to the rain, they ended with 19 points. 

RCB faced PBKS in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2025, and they had a tremendous outing with the bat and ball. They won the game by eight wickets as they first bundled out the opposition for just 101 runs and then chased the target with ten overs to spare. 

PBKS, on the other hand, were also dominant in the league as they finished at the top of the points table. They also registered nine wins and four losses, bagging 19 points. However, better NRR separated them from RCB and kept them at one on the table.

PBKS, however, didn’t have a great start to their playoffs as they faced a massive loss against RCB in Qualifier 1. But, in what was a solid effort, the Shreyas Iyer-led side thumped Mumbai Indians (MI) by five wickets in the Qualifier 2 to book their berth in the final.
