The India vs Afghanistan 1st ODI is taking place at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. This is the first game of the three-match series, which will conclude on July 20.
The start of IND vs AFG first ODI was delayed by around of four hours due to rain, which forced officials to shorten the match to 25 overs per innings. India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first, as the home side handed debut caps to Gurnoor Brar and Harsh Dubey in the clash.
Indian had a great start with the ball, courtesy of Brar and Arshdeep Singh but Rahmanullah Gurbaz ensured that he held one end up and slammed a stunning century. He scored 102 runs off 51 balls with the help of eight fours and eight sixes.
While other batters lost their wickets cheaply, Gurbaz slammed Indian bowlers all over the park, batting at a strike rate of 200. The wicket-keeper batsman eventually became a victim of Nitish Kumar Reddy in the 16th over.
