[Watch] Relive Anshul Kamboj's 10-wicket haul in Ranji Trophy 2024-25 as he makes his India test debut

Anshul Kamboj made his debut for India in fourth test of the ongoing series against England.

Young Harayana pacer Anshul Kamboj is making his test debut for the Indian Cricket Team in the ongoing fourth game of the five-match series against the England Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. 

Anshul Kamboj, who has been one of the best pacers going around in Indian domestic cricket, has been having the best days of his life. After Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out of the series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) called the young pacer to join the team. 

Just a couple of days back, he joined the Indian team in Manchester and now is making his debut for the national team. He got his cap from former keeper-batter Deep Dasgupta, becoming the 318th player to represent the team in the longest format of the game. 

Kamboj was added to the Indian team on the back of his solid performances in the domestic circuit. He recently was part of the India A team for the unofficial series against England Lions. The right-arm pacer was by far the best bowler for his team, troubling the opposition batters. 

For Harayana, too, on flat decks, Kamboj has been nothing short of exceptional. His record in the First-Class (FC) cricket says a lot about his calibre as he has picked 79 wickets in just 24 games to go with two five-wicket hauls and one ten-wicket match haul. 

Anshul Kamboj stole the limelight when he picked ten wickets in an innings during the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 game against Kerala. He became just the third bowler in the history of the tournament to achieve this milestone. 

Kamboj returned with the figures of 10 for 49 in 30.1 overs. Since then, he has been making great strides forward in his career. He also played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he impressed many with his lines and lengths.
