The Punjab Kings (PBKS) are not having a great outing in the ongoing IPL 2023 as they have won 4 matches and lost 4 in the 8 games they have played before their ongoing IPL 2023 game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which is being played at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 30, 2023.

Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t do much scoring just 12 runs, but it was Devon Conway who batted throughout the innings and scored his highest IPL score of 92* in 52 balls with 16 fours and 1 six.
MS Dhoni showed his hitting prowess well, as he smacked Sam Curran for two sixes in two consecutive deliveries in the final over of CSK innings to make 12* in 3 balls and thanks to him, the yellow brigade posted 200/4 in 20 overs.
When PBKS came out to bat, Shikhar Dhawan was the first casualty as he fell for 28 in 15 balls and then Prabhsimran Singh got out after making 42 in 24 balls with 4 sixes and 2 fours to his name.
Atharva Taide fell for 13 runs and Liam Livingstone, who was looking dangerous, fell for 40 in 24 balls after hitting 1 four and 4 sixes and got out going for his fifth maximum.

The remaining runs were left to Sam Curran and Jitesh Sharma to make and Sam Curran had some support from back home as his girlfriend Isabella Grace was seen cheering for him from the stands wearing the PBKS jersey.
