Rinku Singh was traveling alongside Indian team for T20 World Cup 2024 as a reserve player.
After the Indian cricket team defeated South Africa by seven runs in the grand finale of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados, Men in Blue star batter Rinku Singh shared a post on his Instagram handle posing with the trophy.
Many questions were raised when the Indian management didn’t include left-handed batter Rinku in the main 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Rinku was named in the traveling reserves along with three others, Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed.
During the whole T20 World Cup 2024 tournament, Rinku didn’t get any chance to feature in the main squad as none of the players got injured. Surprisingly, Rinku has been India’s best finisher in the past year and still couldn’t play a single T20 World Cup 2024 match.
Gods plan baby: Rinku Singh shares post after India wins their second T20I title
After India clinched their second T20I title and ended their 11-year-long ICC trophy drought, left-handed batter Rinku shared a heartwarming post on his Instagram where he was seen posing with the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy.
The star cricketer captioned the post: ‘Gods plan baby 🧿 bola tha na trophy apne hath mai hogi 🏆.’
Earlier this year, the Indian cricketer Rinku won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
