That performance earned him his maiden call-up for the Indian team. And he continued his form at the international level when given a chance in the T20I series against Ireland. However, the left-hander has continued his form in the ongoing inaugural UP T20 league. Rinku is representing the Meerut Mavericks, where he single-handedly won the game with three consecutive sixes in the super over.

Rinku Singh recently powered the Meerut Mavericks to victory in the Super Over. It was the game against Kashi Rudras in the inaugural UP T20 League in Kanpur, which ended in a thrilling tie. As a result, the match went to the Super Over. Kashi batted first and scored 16 runs in the super over to make it tougher for Meerut.
But it was Rinku Singh who made it a one-sided affair with three consecutive sixes to seal the deal for his team. He could not dispatch the first ball from spinner Shiva Singh and didn't take a single. But then he smashed the second ball of the over for a six-over long-off. The third ball was a full-toss, which was deposited for a six to the leg side. On the fourth ball, he hit another six to end the game.
