Rishabh Pant did not keep the stumps after getting hit on his left hand in the previous test at Lord’s.

The Indian Cricket Team are preparing for the fourth test against the England Cricket Team. The encounter will start on July 23 at Old Trafford, Manchester. Notably, Rishabh Pant is doubtful to keep the stumps in the match.

This is because he sustained a finger injury on day one of the third test at Lord’s as he tried to stop the ball from Jasprit Bumrah. As a result, Dhruv Jurel replaced him as the wicket-keeper in the match.

Jurel kept the stumps for India in both innings, and Pant only played as a batter. Recently, there were reports that Jurel will be added to the playing XI in the Manchester test and will keep the stumps with Pant being the specialist batter.
