Rishabh Pant arrives at Arun Jaitley Stadium to support Delhi Capitals in their first home match of IPL 2023 - Watch video

Delhi Capitals' regular captain, Rishabh Pant, who is missing out the IPL 2023 due to life-threatening car crash, arrived at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to support his team tonight.
Indian Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is out of cricketing action for a long time. After facing an accident on 30th December 2022, Pant has been getting the required treatment and is now in recovery from the injuries he sustained. Delhi Capitals are making everything possible for Pant to be part of the action in IPL 2023. Delhi are playing their first home game of the season. Against Gujarat Titans at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium, Capitals' regular captain Rishabh Pant made his first public appearance. Pant is seen cheering Delhi Capitals playing their first home game of the season.
DDCA made proper arrangements to welcome Rishabh Pant's
Before this, Delhi Capitals had Pant’s jersey hanged in their dugout. DDCA had made the required arrangement before his arrival. DDCA arranged a Golf cart, and a ramp for Pant’s easy welcome at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. Pant suffered severe injuries in the accident. He has to be airlifted from Uttarakhand to Mumbai for the required treatment. DDCA has left it to Rishabh to decide where he wants to sit and enjoy the game. He is still not able to walk without crutches.
Rishabh Pant had a major accident in December 2022
Wicketkeeper Batsman Rishabh Pant was heading home after the Bangladesh tour. He was traveling to Roorkee from Delhi to give his mother a surprise before the New Year 2023. Just a few Kilometers before reaching Roorkee, his car collided with a divider and crashed badly. Pant sustained grave injuries in his body due to the accident. Pant will take about 12-18 months to get back in the field again. Pant will be missing out on many big events in Cricket this year.
In the absence of Rishabh Pant, Australian opener David Warner is leading the Delhi Capitals' squad. Delhi had a poor start to the season. They lost their opening clash against Lucknow Super Giants. Delhi’s fielding played a huge part in their loss against LSG in Lucknow. Delhi batters are struggling once again against Gujarat Titans.
