5. 87 vs CSK, Wankhede, 2011
Rohit Sharma scored his ninth half-century and first for MI in the 2011 edition. It was the 25th clash of the season between MI and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Rohit batted at No. 4 and slammed a 31-ball fifty.
He scored 87 off 48 balls, including eight fours and five sixes, helping MI to reach 164/4 in the first innings. CSK scored 156/9 in the second innings and lost the game by eight runs.
4. 94 vs RCB, Wankhede, 2018
The fourth-highest score by Rohit Sharma came in a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Wankhede Stadium in the 2018 edition. Rohit was captaining the team and batted at No. 4.
He scored a 32-ball fifty and made 94 off 52 balls, with 10 fours and five sixes. He got out on the fifth ball of the 20th over, trying to hit a six to reach his hundred. MI made 213/6 and restricted RCB to 167/8 to win it by 46 runs eventually.
3. 98* vs KKR, Eden Gardens, 2015
Rohit Sharma loves batting against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and he has scored most runs against them by an Indian player, including many precious innings. One of them came during the inaugural game of the 2015 edition at the Eden Gardens.
Rohit slammed an unbeaten 98 off 65 balls, with 12 fours and four sixes. MI were 37/3 inside the powerplay, and the captain played this knock under pressure to take the team to 168/3 in the first innings. Unfortunately, MI couldn’t defend the total as KKR made 170/3 to win by seven wickets, but Rohit registered a great knock.
2. 105* vs CSK, Wankhede, 2024
Rohit has two IPL centuries to his name so far. His second hundred came against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings during the 2024 edition. It was a one-man show from Rohit while chasing a target over 200 runs as CSK posted 206/4 in the first innings.
The wickets kept tumbling from the other end while Rohit slammed an unbeaten ton. He made 105* off 63 balls, with 11 fours and five sixes, while only three other batters scored in double figures. MI reached 186/6 in 20 overs and lost the game.
1. 109* vs KKR, Eden Gardens, 2012
Rohit Sharma’s highest IPL score came against KKR at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the 2012 edition. In this match, he slammed his first IPL century and made 109 not out from 60 balls, with 12 fours and five sixes.
Rohit added an unbeaten 167-run stand for the second wicket with Herschelle Gibbs (66* off 58), which is still MI’s highest IPL stand for any wicket. MI made 182/1 and restricted KKR to 155/4 to win the game by 27 runs. Rohit won the Player of the Match award for his century.
