Now ironically, One of the most successful batters in the Indian Premier League also holds the record of getting out on the most number of ducks. Mumbai Indians tried a new opening combination against CSK, in place of Rohit Sharma, Cameron Green came in along with Ishan Kishan. Yet they failed to give the team a solid start.

Facing Deepak Chahar, MI’s skipper Rohit was trying to play a paddle as MS Dhoni was standing close to the stumps. Ball took the leading edge and popped up. Ravindra Jadeja running from the Point region took an easy catch in front of the short third man. Rohit was out playing only three balls and without scoring any run. This was Rohit Sharma’s 16th duck in the Indian Premier League career. This is the most number of times a batter got out on duck. Apart from Rohit, there are a few other names involved in this unwanted record for a batter.
