WPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru full schedule

Smriti Mandhana will lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru in WPL 2026.

The first three editions of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) have been epic. Hence, the expectation for the fourth edition is sky-high. Mumbai Indians (MI), under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, won the last edition, beating Delhi Capitals (DC) in the final. They will put their title on the line in WPL 2026.

The schedule for the upcoming season was announced on Saturday, 29th November, and there are multiple blockbuster clashes lined up for the fans, which will attract the eyeballs of the cricket lovers. The tournament will be played between 9 January and 5 February.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) had a disappointing last season, where they entered the tournament as the defending champions. After winning WPL 2024, Smriti Mandhana and co. couldn’t repeat that success in WPL 2025.

Despite a good start, they lost the plot in the middle, resulting in their early exit. They finished in fourth place and couldn’t make it to the playoffs either. Ellyse Perry was the top scorer for RCB-W with 372 runs at an average of 93.

But the franchise will look to leave the past behind, as the new season will bring in new hopes. They did a fairly good job at WPL 2026 mega auction and strengthened their side with some useful signings. RCB-W will be part of the tournament’s opener against Mumbai Indians on January 9.
