RR's full schedule for IPL 2026: Know match dates, timings, venues & more

RR traded their captain Sanju Samson for all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran ahead of IPL 2026.

The inaugural champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) have grappled hard over the years to add to their initial success. The 2025 season was seen as ‘so close yet so far’ for RR as they came out on the losing side in quite a few close encounters.

In IPL 2025, RR slipped up mid way through the season after a strong start to the campaign. The main reason for the slump was the inconsistency in the second half of the 2025 season. Apart from opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, the players failed to take their side home with match winning performances.

The RR made a major reshuffle in their squad as they traded their captain Sanju Samson for Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to Chennai Super Kings (CSK). With this move, RR will hope to have a good balance in the middle order with the bat and bowl.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) schedule for IPL 2026

After finishing ninth last season, Rajasthan will look to bounce back under the newly appointed captain Riyan Parag. In the 2026 season, RR will have their matches distributed across two different cities with three home matches in Guwahati in the first phase.

The first assignment for Riyan Parag’s RR come in the form of CSK, where they meet their former captain Sanju Samson. After that, they will take on Gujarat Titans followed by Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
