'Worked very hard...' Samit Dravid's first reaction after India U-19 selection for multi-format Australia series

Samit Dravid thanked everyone who wished him after he was selected in the India U-19 team.
Former Indian captain and head coach Rahul Dravid’s son Samit recently earned his maiden call-up to India’s U19 team. After earning his maiden call-up to the Under-19 team for the multi-format series against Australia Under-19, Samit said he worked very hard for this moment.
India U19 will host Australia U19 in a multi-format series from September to October 2024. Both nations will take on each other in three 50-over games, which will be played on September 21, 23, and 26 in Puducherry. After the conclusion of the 50-over series, two four-day matches will be played from September 30 in Chennai.

After receiving his maiden India U-19 call-up, Samit thanked everyone for the wishes and said that he worked very hard for this moment.
“First of all, I am very happy to be selected and thank you for all your wishes. I think I am feeling great, I worked very hard for this moment,” said Samit in a video shared by Star Sports Kannada on X.
Earlier, the 18-year-old Samit had an impressive run showcased his all-round skills and abilities in the Cooch Behar Trophy while playing for Karnataka.
Samit scored 362 runs and scalped 16 wickets in eight matches and helped Karnataka lift the Cooch Behar Trophy.
After fabulous performance in the Cooch Behar Trophy, Samit was bought by Mysuru Warriors in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy. However, he couldn’t replicate his performance from Cooch Behar Trophy and managed 82 runs in seven matches in the tournament. He is yet to bowl in the tournament.
