India opener Sanju Samson smashed five consecutive sixes in an over against Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain during the third T20I match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on October 12.

After opting to bat first, India lost opener Abhishek Sharma for just 4 runs in the third over of the match. However, skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Samson played attacking cricket, which helped the hosts reach 82/1 inside the first six overs.
Sanju Samson hammers five sixes in a row against Rishad Hossain
The incident happened during the tenth over of India’s innings, when Samson was in strike against Bangladesh’s premier leg-spinner Rishad Hossain.
The first delivery of the over was a dot ball after Samson was hit on the pads. On the very next delivery, the Indian opener hammered a six over the bowler’s head.
On the third delivery, Rishad bowled a flighted ball towards the off-stump. Samson cleared his front leg and smashed a maximum over long-off. Hossain once again bowled a tossed-up delivery and the Indian opener launched it over a bowler hit for a huge six.
The last two deliveries also went for the same results after Samson hammered Hossain for another two sixes. Hossain went for five consecutive and conceded 30 runs against the Indian opener.

Sanju Samson notches up his maiden T20I ton during 3rd T20I against Bangladesh
Indian opener Samson smashed his maiden T20I century during the third T20I match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad.
The right-handed batter notched up his century in 40 deliveries, which is the second fastest by an Indian batter in T20I till now. Ahead of him is Rohit Sharma, who made a 35-ball century against Sri Lanka in 2017.
Samson went on to make 111 runs off 47 deliveries, including 11 boundaries and eight maximums. He was dismissed in the 14th over by speedster Mustafizur Rahman.
India finished their innings at 297/6, which is the highest total in T20I among test-playing nations.
