[Watch] Shakib Al Hasan behaves rudely with a fan trying to take a selfie

Shakib Al Hasan was playing in the Dhaka Premier League.

Shakib Al Hasan is one of the biggest stars in Bangladesh cricket at the moment. So it’s natural that fans will want a piece of him. But one fan’s quest to get a selfie with Shakib turned ugly when Shakib lost his cool.

Shakib has been playing in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) with permission from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). He missed the first three T20I games against Zimbabwe and will join the team for the last two games of the series. 

Shakib Al Hasan scored a golden duck against Prime Bank in the DPL. With the ball, he looked to be in fine form, finishing with 2/42 in 10 overs. The experienced all-rounder’s return to the Bangladesh squad for the final two T20Is will mark his return from injury and a break.

He was last spotted playing at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. He missed the tournament’s final few matches due to an injury.

Prior to coming back to international cricket, the veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan played for the Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the DPL 2024. The incident occurred on Monday, May 6, before SJDC’s match versus Prime Bank Cricket Club at Fatullah’s Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium.

Before the toss, Shakib discussed spin bowling with head coach Sheikh Salahuddin. Shakib, who plays for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, was approached by a fan before a match against Prime Bank Cricket Club.

It did not go well with Shakib, who sought to confiscate the fan’s phone and threatened to beat him. The fan returned, and Shakib resumed his conversations with the coaches.
