India marched towards victory on third day of SL vs IND Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.
The Indian Cricket Team had another great day in the second Test against Sri Lanka at Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. They delivered a brilliant performance with the ball on the third day of game on Thursday and marched towards the win.
Sri Lanka started the third day at eight for two, trailing by 495 runs. But they didn’t have a great start as Kamil Mishara fell for 19. However, Pasindu Sooriyabandara (80) and Kusal Mendis (32) bailed the side out of trouble and added 87 runs for the fourth wicket.
Captain Dhananjaya de Silva had another poor outing, while Sonal Dinusha (85*) continued to impress with his calm and composed batting. He failed to get support from the other end as Sri Lanka lost eight wickets.They ended the third day at 265 for eight, trailing by 238 runs.
India would be hoping to take the last two wickets as early as possible and enforce follow-on. As the fourth day is around the corner, we take a look at session timings.

The action on the day four of the second Test between Sri Lanka and India will begin at 9:45 AM IST/local. The first session will be followed by a 40-minute lunch break between 12 and 12:40 PM IST.
The second session will run from 12:40 PM to 2:40 PM IST. Following that, there will be a tea break, which will last 20 minutes. The last sessions on Day 2 in Colombo will start at 3:00 PM IST and will last until 5 PM IST. There will be an extension of half an hour also to make up for remaining overs.
