SL vs IND 2024: Weather report for 2nd ODI in Colombo

SL vs IND 2nd ODI match will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, on Sunday.

The second match of the ongoing three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and India will be played at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on August 4. 

The first match of the series ended in a tie. After being asked to field first, Indian speedster Arshdeep Singh and left-arm spinner Axar Patel bagged two wickets each, which restricted hosts Sri Lanka to 230/8 in 50 overs.

While chasing, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma played a breezy knock of 58 runs off 47 balls and shared a 75-run opening partnership with vice-captain Shubman Gill.

However, once the opening stand was broken, Sri Lanka stormed back into the game as the visitors started losing wickets at regular intervals. Eventually, India were all-out of 230 runs in 47.5 overs. Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka and leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga took three wickets apiece.
