There has been a rift between the two former Indian captains, Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli.

After two losses, RCB took back their campaign in winning ways again. Opener Virat Kohli’s fifty and RCB’s pace bowling attack has earned them 2 points from the game. Delhi Capitals are yet to open their winning account in the IPL 2023. Virat Kohli was awarded Player of the Match for his half century against the Capitals. After the game, an incident reminded fans about the two year old Virat Kohli vs Sourav Ganguly saga. When the game finished, both teams players were on the ground shaking hands with each other. Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly and Former RCB Captain Virat Kohli ignored each other and did not shake hands with each other.

A video on Twitter is going viral with the claim that both these Indian legends ignored each other and went past without shaking hands. In the video, it is seen that when Virat comes closer to Sourav Ganguly, Delhi’s coach Ricky Ponting stops him to say something. Sourav Ganguly was standing right behind Rickey Ponting and all of a sudden both (Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli) moved away from each other without shaking hands. This incident reminds fans of the 2021 episode where BCCI removed Virat Kohli from limited overs captaincy. This became a controversial decision with Virat claiming BCCI did not consult the decision with him.
