South Africa announce squad for ODI and T20Is against India; Anrich Nortje returns

India will host South Africa for three ODIs and five T20Is after the test series.

The South Africa Cricket Team have announced their squad for the ODI and the T20I series against the Indian Cricket Team. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the three-match ODI and five-match T20I series after the ongoing test series. 

The three-match ODI series begins from November 30 in Ranchi followed by the second match to be played in Raipur on December 3. The last match will be played on December 6 in Visakhapatnam. 

Temba Bavuma will lead the ODI team and the squad will see some of the big names returning after resting from Pakistan ODIs. Quinton de Kock will return to India after a while after a successful Pakistan tour, while Lhuan-dre Pretorius has been dropped. 

The rest of the names in the ODI squad were pretty familiar and after a good test series, they would be keen to win the 50-over series as well.

Temba Bavuma (captain), Osneil Baartman, Corbin Bosch, Matthew Breetzke, Dewald Brevis, Nandre Burger, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Rubin Hermann, Keshav Maharaj, Marco Jansen, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Ryan Rickelton, Prenelan Subrayen.

The South Africa squad for the T20I series against, which will be played from 09 – 19 December, has seen some surprises. Anrich Nortje returns to the team after a long gap, while Ryan Rickelton hasn’t been picked in the team, which will be captained by Aiden Markram. 

David Miller will also be making his comeback in the T20Is after an injury break. The notable omission was of Kagiso Rabada, who will miss the entire tour with a rib injury, as confirmed by the  management earlier
