Sreesanth hits back at Gautam Gambhir following the latter's post on social media, "Smile when the world is all about attention!"

Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir had an on-field spat on 6th December, 2023 in the LLC.
The Legends League Cricket has become a hot topic for the day after two of the former Indian cricketers fought against each other during the action in Surat. India Capitals skipper Gautam Gambhir had an altercation with former Indian pace bowler Sreesanth who is currently representing Gujarat Giants. Gautam Gambhir was not pleased with Sreesanth’s long stare when the pace bowler was hit for consecutive boundaries in his first over.
Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir posted a picture on his social media account after the game and wrote, “Smile when the world is all about attention!.” Sreesanth has accused him of abuse during the altercation and revealed that India Capitals skipper Gambhir directed, ‘F**k **u Fixer’ at him. Sreesanth has now responded to Gautam Gambhir in the same post and accused him of crossing all the boundaries as a sportsperson.
Sreesanth responds to Gautam Gambhir
Sreesanth wrote in Gautam Gambhir’s social media post, “You have exceeded the boundaries of a sportsman and a brother, and above all, you represent the people. Yet, you continue to engage in conflicts with every cricketer. What is the matter with you? All I did was smile and observe, and you labeled me a fixer? Seriously? Are you above the Supreme Court? You have no authority to speak in such a manner and say whatever you please.”
“You even verbally abused the umpires, and yet you speak of smiling? You are an arrogant and utterly classless individual who lacks any form of respect for those who supported you. Until yesterday, I always held respect for you and your family. However, you used the derogatory term “fixer” not just once, but seven or eight times. You even resorted to using the F-word towards the umpires and myself, persistently trying to provoke me.”
Sreesanth concluded, “Anyone who has experienced what I have endured would never forgive you. Deep down, you know that what you said and did was wrong. I’m sure even God won’t forgive you. You didn’t even come to the field after that. Come on, God is watching everything,” When Sreesanth was introduced into the attack by Gujarat Giants skipper Parthiv Patel, Gambhir welcomed him with a six and a four.

Sreesanth gave a long stare to the Indian opener. Later on, after playing two dot-balls, Sreesanth continued his aggression towards Gautam Gambhir and the opener didn’t like it. While changing the end for the next over, Gautam Gambhir confronted Sreesanth and that led to a fiery exchange of words between the two. Umpires had to come and intervene and calm the situation between the two.
