Sri Lanka's full schedule for Asia Cup 2025

Sri Lanka will play their first game of Asia Cup 2025 against Bangladesh.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has released the full schedule of Asia Cup 2025, which will commence on September 9 and will witness the final on September 28.

The tournament will be played in T20I format and will act as a platform to prepare for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Eight teams will battle for the title in the tournament, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman are part of Group A in the tournament. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong are in Group B. According to the format, the tournament will witness a group stage round before the Super Four round and the final.

The top two teams from Group A and Group B will qualify for the Super Four round. Each team will play three games in that round, and the top two teams in the points table will then reach the final.

Sri Lanka, who finished as runners-up in the last edition of the tournament in 2023, will play their first game of this year’s edition against Bangladesh.

Full schedule of Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup 2025 

The Sri Lanka Cricket Team are part of Group B in the Asia Cup 2025. They will play their first game against Bangladesh on September 13. Later, they will clash with Hong Kong on September 15. They will face Afghanistan in their last game of the group stage on September 18.

Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan – 18th September 

If Sri Lanka reach the Super Four stage, they will play three more games.

Sep 23: A2 vs B1 

Sep 24: A1 vs B2 

Sep 25: A2 vs B2 

Sep 26: A1 vs B1
