The first test of The Ashes 2025-26 between Australian Cricket Team and England Cricket Team has been a low-scoring thriller so far, with batters from both teams struggling to score runs on a challenging pitch at Optus Stadium in Perth. The England bowling legend was present in the commentary box with former Australian opener Matthew Hayden. In a video going viral on micro-blogging site X (Twitter), Broad was seen in disbelief over England’s dismal batting collapse in the second innings.

Meanwhile, England have set a target of 205 runs for Australia in the second innings. Noting that both sides have failed to cross the 200-run mark in the encounter so far, it can be termed as a challenging target for the hosts.
