IPL 2023: Sunil Gavaskar suggests MI captain Rohit Sharma to take a little break before WTC final
India are set to play the ICC WTC final against Australia starting 7th June, 2023.
After a hat-trick of wins, Mumbai Indians have failed to capitalise on the positives they got. MI were beaten by Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans in their last two back-to-back games. On Tuesday, Mumbai suffered a heavy defeat by 55 runs against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. Mumbai Indians are not at their best since the IPL 2022. In 21 games, they have managed to win only 7. Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has now suggested MI captain Rohit Sharma to keep himself out of the action and just focus on the big ICC Event scheduled in June. He had also suggested that Mumbai need to bring some changes in their batting.

Mumbaikar and Former legendary Indian batter, Sunil Gavaskar has asked Rohit Sharma to step aside for a while. Mumbai Indians are currently struggling to reach the top 4 in the points table.
