Suryakumar Yadav smashed a brilliant ton in the third and final T20I against South Africa in Johannesburg.
Team India are on tour to South Africa for a multi-format series. The tour started with three T20Is. The first game of the series was washed out due to rain, and the hosts won the second match comprehensively. However, in the third and final game, which was a must-win match for the visitors, they showed a dominating performance and thrashed South Africa by a massive margin of 106 runs.
It was India’s stand-in skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, who took India to a winning position with a hundred and made 100 off 56 balls. India made 201 runs and dismissed the hosts below 100-run mark to register their third biggest win in the shorter format. Now these two teams will face off against each other in the ODI series, starting on December 16.

With a century in the final game, Suryakumar Yadav equaled Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell with the most hundreds in the T20Is. SKY, who is known for his calm and composed attitude, was seen losing his cool. A video is circulating on the internet where SKY is seen getting angry at Indian players. This video was of the time when Indian players were leaving in the bus after the win in the third game.
In the video, Suryakumar Yadav was seen giving a death stare to Arshdeep Singh and pointing a finger at him. This video has gone viral, and everyone is talking about it. Fans have not seen this avatar of the No. 1 T20I batter before.
The stand-in captain was named Man of the Series as well. He struck a decent fifty in the second game and followed it up with a cracking hundred. However, he is not part of the ODI series. KL Rahul will lead India in the ODI series. The first ODI will start on Sunday at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The ODI squad also has a number of new faces who will be making their debuts for India, while Deepak Chahar has withdrawn from the series due to a family medical emergency.
