The Marsh-led side also finished at top of the Group B with eight points in order to qualify for the next round of the ongoing ICC tournament.

After reaching the Super 8, Australia defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs (DLS Method). In their next outing, the Aussies were outclassed by Afghanistan, as they lost the match by 21 runs.

Meanwhile, the Rohit Sharma-led India had a stunning USA leg in the ongoing global tournament. The Men in Blue won three games out of the four they played. Their final group stage match against Canada in Florida was abandoned due to rain.

India arrived in the Caribbean Islands in style as they notched up two dominant victories over Bangladesh and Afghanistan in the Super 8 (Group 1) of the ongoing global tournament.

As St. Lucia prepares for one of the most awaited match between India and Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024, there are chances of rain playing its part and spoiling all the moods of cricket fans on June 24.

According to weather.com, there is chance of thunderstorms early in the morning during the AUS vs IND Super 8 clash in the T20 World Cup 2024 in St Lucia on June 24.

However, the chance of rain is slightly on the lower side, at just 15%. The chance of rain during the match is around 5%, along with thunderstorms. It is to be noted that if rain washes out the important match, then both India and Australia will get one point each in the ongoing global event.

If this happens, India will make it to the semi-finals, while Australia’s fate will be in the hands of Bangladesh, as the Aussies will require Bangladesh to beat Afghanistan.
