IND vs ENG weather forecast: Will rain play spoilsport in Guyana during semi-final 2 at ICC T20 World Cup 2024?

The high-voltage IND vs ENG clash at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in Guyana on June 27.
At the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian cricket team and defending champions England will face-off at the Providence Stadium, Guyana, in the second semi-final on June 27. Both teams had also met in the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final in Adelaide, where England hammered the Men in Blue by 10 wickets.
The Rohit Sharma-led India have had an unbeaten run so far. The Men in Blue first won three group games, while the match against Canada was abandoned. In Group A, the Rohit-led side finished at the top with seven points and qualified for the Super 8s. In the Super 8 round, India continued their hot form by winning all three games by significant margins and qualified for the semi-finals.
Defending champions England had a slow start to their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign. The Jos Buttler-led side lost to Australia in the group, but hammered Oman and Namibia to reach the Super 8s.
In the Super 8 round, England defeated hosts West Indies in the first game, but suffered a seven-run loss against South Africa. To reach the semi-finals, the side thumped the USA in a one-sided affair by 10 wickets.
As the Providence Stadium in Guyana prepares for the semi-final 2 clash between India and England, there are significant chances of rain interrupting the match.
IND vs ENG: Guyana weather update
According to AccuWeather.com, the weather throughout the day will be cloudy, with sunshine and a couple of showers. The temperature will be 29 degrees celsius.
The worrying news is that passing showers could trouble the semi-final 2 clash in the morning during a scheduled 10:30 AM local time start.
If rain washes out the India vs England semi-final, then the Men in Blue will advance to the final of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 by virtue of having finished on top of their group in the Super 8 round. England ended in the second position in their group.
