Top 5 teams with most consecutive wins in T20I cricket (Full Member nations)
Spain hold the record for the most consecutive wins in men’s T20I cricket.
T20I cricket is known for its unpredictability, and the fast-paced nature of the format making consistency a rare feat to achieve for teams and players.
The possibility of upsets is also the highest in the shortest format with each team having a chance to turn around the game with one individual standout performance. It’s a format where one good spell or a quick-fire knock can flip the momentum and decide the outcome.
Throughout its history, the T20 format has seen many dominant teams in the international arena. While several full-member teams have won the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy, none of them have managed to record more than 15 consecutive wins in the format.
Interestingly, outside the full member nations, Spain hold the record with 15 consecutive victories, followed by Japan, Malaysia, and Bermuda, with 13 wins each.
In this article, we’ll look at the top five full-member nations that have achieved the most consecutive wins in T20I cricket.
