That helps not only the IPL, but also the franchise owners to increase their value and worth season after season. Currently, there are ten active franchises in the league, and some of them have some mind-blowing worth.

The recent edition of the IPL ended with some enormous numbers and viewership landmarks, which has skyrocketed the brand values of the teams. And here we will talk about the top ten richest IPL teams in 2025.

10. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) – USD 122 million

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made their IPL debut in 2022 and made it to the playoffs in the first two seasons. But the last two seasons have not gone in their favour.

However, they made history when they bought Rishabh Pant for an all-time high price of INR 27 crores, which certainly helped them to increase their presence among the fans. Owned by RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, LSG have a fan base close to 5.6 million, and with a brand value of USD 122 million (INR 10,46,15,24,741.60), they are ranked tenth.

9. Punjab Kings (PBKS) – USD 141 million

Shreyas Iyer’s entry to Punjab Kings (PBKS) not only lifted their performance on the field, but also saw a huge hike in their brand value among all ten teams. Owned by K.P.H. Dream Cricket Private Limited along with Preity Zinta, Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, and Karan Paul, PBKS made it to the playoffs in IPL 2025 for the first time after ten seasons and fell just one win short of their maiden title.

But that performance just saw them record 39.6 percent growth in their brand value. With a brand value of USD 141 million (INR 12,09,07,78,200.00) and a fanbase of around 15.9 million, they are ranked ninth in 2025.

8. Gujarat Titans (GT) – 142 million

Gujarat Titans (GT) won the IPL in their debut season in 2022 and finished as runners-up in 2023. But their performance under Shubman Gill in 2025 was also pretty impressive. They were at top of the table for most of the time and made it to the playoffs, finishing fourth in the season.

GT had pretty good individual performances, and they secure eighth place on the list with a brand value of USD 142 million (INR 12,17,65,28,400.00). With Gill taking over India’s test captaincy, it is expected to rise even more in coming seasons.

7. Rajasthan Royals (RR) – USD 146 million

Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) made some notable changes to their squad for IPL 2025, which didn’t work, and they finished ninth on the table. But the franchise has done a really good job of promoting Indian talents, which was noticed.

Players like Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, and Yashasvi Jaiswal are the ones to take RR forward in coming years. They are ranked seventh with brand value of USD 146 million (INR 12,52,04,74,404.00).

6. Delhi Capitals (DC) – USD 152 million

Delhi Capitals (DC) had a mixed season, and they marginally missed a playoff spot in the IPL 2025. But they assembled some serious talent for them. Owned by GMR Group and the JSW Group, Axar Patel and his men missed out on a playoffs spot despite being in the top four spot for majority of the season.

With some big international stars and massive support from fans, DC have increased their value to USD 152 million (INR 13,03,50,14,448.00) and are ranked sixth on this list.

5. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) – USD 154 million

The last two seasons have certainly raised the bar of the T20 batting standard in the IPL, and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are the key reason for that. The ultra-aggressive batting approach of SRH has benefitted them in terms of engaging more sponsors and brands.

That has helped them increase their brand value to great effect. Though they had a poor season in 2025, but they are ranked fifth with brand value of USD 154 million (INR 13,20,65,27,796.00). They have a fanbase of 15.2 million.

4. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) – USD 222 million

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) entered the IPL 2025 as defending champions, but the form of their key players didn’t help them much. Under new captain Ajinkya Rahane, they finished eighth on the table.

But KKR are still among the successful franchises in the IPL, and they have a huge fan base (30.3 million) with multiple sponsors. They are ranked fourth in the list of richest IPL teams with a brand value of USD 222 million (INR 19,03,79,81,628.00).

3. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) – USD 235 million

The biggest change from last year is that the five-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have dropped to third spot. CSK had a brand value of USD 231 million ahead of the IPL 2025, which has had only a marginal increment to USD 235 million (INR 20,15,28,18,390.00).

A poor performance in IPL 2025 is the major reason. But despite all that, they are among the top richest cricket franchises across the globe and have the potential of regaining their top spot in coming seasons.

2. Mumbai Indians (MI) – USD 204 million

Mumbai Indians (MI) have always been a team with some of the biggest stars around the world. This season was not different. Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Trent Boult, and Mitchell Santner, who are global icons in this format, played for one team is something very special.

They finished third in the season, which has helped them increase their brand value from USD 204 million (2024) to USD 242 million (INR 20,75,11,85,400.00) in 2025.

1. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) – USD 269 million

With a fan base of over 40 million, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were always among the top most followed sports teams in the world. But the only thing they were missing was an IPL title. That search ended in 2025, which helped them have a massive increase in their brand value.

They have replaced CSK from the top spot and are the richest IPL team in 2025, with a brand value of USD 269 million (INR 23,06,64,00,300.00), which was previously USD 227 last year.
