In September 2023, Ben Stokes smacked his highest- ever knock against New Zealand in ODIs. In the 3rd ODI of the four-match series at Kennington Oval in London, Stokes scored 182 runs off 124 balls in the first innings, with nine sixes and 15 boundaries.

With his marvellous ton, he led England to victory by a big margin of 181 runs. Notably, this is also Stokes’ highest-ever score in ODI cricket.

9. 5/61 vs Australia (Southampton, Sep 2013)

However, England shattered their hopes at Melbourne Cricket Ground and clinched a victory by five wickets. In the low-scoring clash, Pakistan posted 137/8 in the first innings.
