"Game changer…" Twitter erupts as Abhishek Sharma smashes his maiden T20I hundred in 2nd T20I against Zimbabwe

Abhishek Sharma took only two matches to smash his maiden T20I hundred.
Indian opening batter Abhishek Sharma unleashed his beast mode against Zimbabwe in the second match of the five-match T20I series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on July 7 as he smashed his maiden T20I century in just 46 deliveries.
In the first match of the ongoing five-match T20I series, Abhishek had a horrible day when he departed for a duck on July 6. Many fans came with premature judgement on him saying Abhishek can only perform in the Indian Premier League, but the 23-year-old batter remained quiet and answered his critics with his maiden T20I century.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Indian skipper Shubman Gill departed for just two runs in the second over of the first innings. However, opener Abhishek kept the scoreboard ticking along with Ruturaj Gaikwad as the Men in Blue reached 36/1 after the end of the first six overs.
The 23-year-old Abhishek then changed his gears after the first six overs as he reached his maiden T20I fifty with a six in the 11th over of the first innings.
After reaching his maiden T20I fifty, the Indian all-rounder Abhishek teared apart Zimbabwe’s bowling attack as he reached his maiden T20I century in just 46 deliveries.
The left-handed batter then departed in the 14th over of India’s innings. Zimbabwe’s Wellington Masakadza removed Abhishek right after he completed his hundred. Abhishek concluded his innings at 100 (47), including seven fours and eight sixes.
Abhishek Sharma also achieved the record of hitting a T20I hundred in fewest innings for India. Previously, the record was held by Deepak Hooda, who took just three innings to smash a T20I century. Now with a hundred on second innings, Abhishek holds the record.
